What has Art to do with politics?

Art is a creative stimuli, reflector of the current time one live's in!

There was a time when the cours to understand beauty and what it does was the focal point of artists per se! In a time where all aspects of craft and creative endeavors are being replaced by mechanical engines that serve the purpose of purely economic strategies. In which gain and profit is the main driving engine of.....What end?

Role models of all sorts have lost themselves in this competing drive where human qualities are being replaced by a survival Ego that has nothing to do with actually putting enough bread on the table!

Looking at the current mainstreams of the visual arts - painting has become a somewhat

forgotten Muse.

Why?

One main aspects is the lack of the professionals signaling to the public and the cultural

pillars of our society that that arts are the most natural human tool as to gain a more sensible

disposition, which opens the gate towards a more conscious existence.

Everyone uses his creative channels in one way or another. But only the professionals are

actually piercing through investigations and experiences the many layers of what it actually

means to be an artist.

Art  -means interaction!

Becoming an artist demands raising questions without being / appearing to be obnoxious!

But being an artist means above all to sense and discern one's own perception (always within its own

time-frame).

Art is, once properly learned a continuous learning medium that lives by expression; Visual leads into a more verbalised and conscious disposition.

We all need to cultivate a genuine dialogue that considers and gives way to a compassionate disposition...regardless where one may come from or be at the given moment!

Art always was and is a conscious tool, which has become over the years - and certainly in our time of social media where preocupations is more important than anything else. Namely, a forgotten cloth that no-one understands because all it has mainly served for was and is an intellectual service for those bored one's who lost vision - morals and true compassion for what it means to be human.

Simply spoken; Art is a higher form of coming to terms with one's personal and social challenges one is bound to come to encounter sooner than later. Art is the most sensible and human approach one can cultivate to obtain a sound observation, which gives birth to a balanced and discerning mind that knows of its own relativity and limitation. Art - is the tangible and mental wagon pulled by one's own complexity filled with drives, urges, need, thoughts and visions! And in-between all those humanised aspects trying to render us more sensible and conscious - "cultivation of a respectful dialogue", is KEY!

For many art has its very particular place somewhere in their house!

For the genuine artist, being an artist goes whey beyond any accustomed meaning.

Of course like in any other profession there are many different wordings of how one 

has come to embrace and live their vocation.

Before one comes to create anything, one has undergone a certain time of being 

an appprentice alike any other existing profession. I guess the need to find answers and

the curiosity to go where others shy off are two aspects that drive any given artist. Yet for me,

even more important was the need to enlist in a visual uprooting that gave a face to

at times abstract constructs. From there a more conscious and verbal articulation

was possible that opens again, new horizons.

Alleviate as to elevate not just your body but even more so your fickle mind, especially if one has not been too fortunate as to gain a balanced disposition, which we have to fight for so hard....out of lack for a society to recognise, foster and cultivate a more sensible and harmonious disposition.

The battles we fight are often well hidden...due to a lack of transparency harmony, vision and role models who who have become absorbed by what they do, satisfied to function.......where do we evolve to, when we cannot relate to our brothers and sisters regardless their religion / color or convictions.

Every novice undergoes a learning pathway, according ones made decision to engage with. A gradual development in ones profession goes along in a parallel graduation with ones personal existence while ones perception becomes more attuned....transgressing and eventually elevating what apparently seems so mundane but so essential for any sane and balanced understanding.

Beginnings and endings are bound intrinsically with each other, often misunderstood because we as persons are always being pressed into things without a necessary consideration before moving on...

One's own development is key not just for their own sanity, self assurance and wholesomeness to become a significant element within any society in place...Sensibility, perception and a the needed common sense are key for any human being to develop a interior sanity. Like any well nurtured life form the roots we are able to develop, in our case as humans, is crucial for a balanced an sensible future of ours.
